One on One Sessions
Privately conducted classes in the comfort of Dorothy Ann Gould's home Monday to Saturday by appointment only. These intimate surroundings facilitate a relaxed, open and creative environment. Each session is structured around the individual needs of the student and can cover anything from voice, emotional release, acting technique, Shakespeare, contemporary theatre, performing for stage, performing for camera and the like.

Due to her extensive career both on the stage and on screen Dorothy Ann Gould can provide invaluable advice and guidance for those who are attempting to break into the industry as well as those who simply need to work out their next step. This time can be utilised to further ones asspirations and stay on track regardless of experience.

GROUP WORKSHOPS
Skills Upgrade for Models and Extras (1st Saturday of the Month) 11am to 2pm - R150 per session.
This workshop is designed for models and extras with skills development in mind. Participants will be taught the elements of performance from the ground up unlocking further potential whilst providing the much needed tools and confidence required for the entertainment industry.
Voice Into Text for Beginners (3rd Saturday of the Month)
11am to 2pm - R150 per session.
Specifically geared toward the novice this workshop introduces the performer to the elements of the vocal instrument. Participants will learn a variety of techniques which will provide them with a set of new skills, such as a range of accents and the confidence to express themselve in their true voice.
Play Reading and Text Analysis (2nd and 4th Tuesday of the Month) 5:30pm to 7:30pm - R150 per session.
This workshop is geared at the intermediate and advanced actor. Participants will embarked on a journey through a bevy of theatrical texts ranging from the classics, contemporary, absurdist, postmodern and beyond. This class will also facilitate character development technique as well as intense text analysis or rather "detective work". Participants shall be expected to have adequate to good sight-reading skills.
Akin Amatoso Bursary Workshop (1st and 3rd Tuesday of the Month) 5:30pm to 7:30pm CLOSED GROUP
This workshop has been made possible by the generosity of esteemed film director Akin Amatoso. Participants are encouraged to grow as performers by actively engaging with text and performance technique.
